ESSEX RIVERS HUB
The Essex Rivers Hub (ERH) was formed in January 2014 and is now hosted by ESRT who took over host role in 2021 from the Essex Wildlife Trust.
ERH has developed a broad active membership which includes (not in any order) Anglian Water, Environment Agency, Essex Wildlife Trust, Essex and Suffolk Water including the Chelmer & Blackwater Partnership, National Farmers Union, Farming & Wildlife Advisory Group East, Local Authorities, Essex & Suffolk Rivers Trust, Essex Waterways Ltd., ECC Flood partnerships, National Trust, Essex University and Dedham Vale and Stour Valley NL (AONB) Project.
The catchment partnership covers the waterways shown in the map below.

The Essex Rivers Hub has a dedicated website: www.essexrivershub.org.uk.
The website acts as a central hub for information, resources and partnership working across the Combined Essex catchment, covering the Blackwater, Chelmer, Colne, Crouch and Roach, and Stour catchments. It provides access to the Essex Rivers Hub Catchment Plan, project updates, news, volunteering opportunities and educational resources, helping partners, communities and stakeholders stay informed and engaged in improving the region’s rivers and estuaries.
