Become a Trustee at ESRT!

Are you looking for a new role to take on in 2023?

Essex and Suffolk Rivers Trust is embarking on a new phase to develop our plans and projects for the next three years. There is a lot happening in our rivers, estuaries and wetlands and they need our support more than ever at a time when pressures from climate change and pollution are taking their toll.

We are seeking new trustees to help us plan and achieve our goals. We would like to hear from those with different backgrounds and experiences which could help broaden our thinking.

Our work varies from concentrated small-scale projects to large landscape plans and everything in between. Some of our recent work has involved planning how we can manage impacts of drought in East Suffolk, preventing plastic pollution in our rivers and supporting reintroduction of beavers!

If you’re excited about helping to shape our plans for the conservation, protection, and rehabilitation of our Essex and Suffolk waterways then visit our recruitment page to find out more about becoming a trustee and how to apply.

The deadline for applications is 9th March 2023.
