Water For Tomorrow - Gipping and Orwell Abstractors Workshop

Essex and Suffolk Rivers Trust hosted the Water For Tomorrow - Gipping and Orwell Abstractors workshop today in Ipswich.

Guest speakers included Sustainable Water Solutions who provided a useful overview of the Gipping and Orwell Estuary catchments. The Environment Agency also delivered a stark message about the predicted future water resources deficit.

The event saw stakeholders from multiple sectors including industry, agriculture, and the environment, come together to start gathering and developing ideas to solve the water crisis.

The workshop generated an enthusiastic response from all attendees, and we look forward to investigating and building upon the ideas generated today.
