Part of our role as partnership hosts is to share widely Defra's "Challenges and Choices" consultation on River Basin Management Plans, and we urge you to share this with colleagues wherever opportunities arise. The consultation explores how we can limit the damage we are causing to our water environment through development, industry, flood protection and agriculture. Defra seeks your comments on this, asking how we can work together to manage these challenges, including who should pay for the actions needed. The consultation closes on 23rd April so there's plenty of time to have your say.
