The State of Our Rivers Report

Last month, our national body the Rivers Trust published its State of Our Rivers report.

The comprehensive web-based report covers the following key issues that threaten our precious freshwater habitats.

  • Raw sewage in our rivers

  • Climate change

  • Habitat loss

  • Drought and water scarcity

  • Pollution

  • Flooding

Read the report and learn what impacts your local river, the various sources of pollution and what can be done about it.

You can also watch the recording of the official livestream that accompanied the launch of the report:

The race to climate resilience will be won or lost on rivers – and right now we’re losing.

We're fighting for the future of our rivers. Will you join us?
